Case Studies

Several new gymnastics facilities have been constructed in the lower mainland in the past 10 years. These facilities are operated through a partnership between the municipality and a gymnastics club. The facilities were developed with substantial public funding from the their respective municipality.

Case Study - Delta Gymnastics

In 2011, Delta Gymnastics Society in partnership with the Corporation of Delta constructed a new facility (see above image) for a base cost of $3.1 million. in 2005, Phoenix Gymnastic in partnership with the City of Vancouver and a lawn bowling club constructed the Millennium Sports Centre for a cost of $7 million.
